Jon, the founder of Family and Friends Homecare, spent years working in the nursing home industry before reflecting on his own family’s experience. His grandparents lived happily at home well into their late 90s, surrounded by familiar comforts, friends, and the support of their loved ones. Seeing how this environment preserved their dignity and happiness, Jon realized the power of family-led care.

Inspired by the fulfillment his own family felt in caring for his grandparents, Jon set out to bring this model to others. He founded Family and Friends Homecare to make in-home care more accessible, ensuring families could provide the same level of love and support while keeping their loved ones at home.

Today, the company continues to grow, with a strong focus on the Medicaid Relative Care Program, which allows family members, friends, and neighbors to get paid for caring for their loved ones.
