Elder Care in Littleton, CO, for Families Who Stayed Put
Grant Ranch to Main Street, the house stays theirs
Littleton is the seat of Arapahoe County, about ten miles south of downtown Denver, where the South Platte River runs past the brick storefronts of Main Street. The light rail stops a short walk from that historic district, and west of Wadsworth Boulevard the map opens into the neighborhoods families bought into decades ago and simply never left.
For a lot of longtime residents the week has a shape to it: a morning at Bemis Public Library, a class at the Douglas H. Buck Community Recreation Center, a wander through the Littleton Museum grounds, an appointment up at AdventHealth Littleton on South Broadway. These houses were bought young and paid off slowly, and the idea of swapping one for a facility across town rarely sits well. When the stairs get longer or the driving gets harder, most families want that week to keep its shape.
That is the work we do. We send caregivers into Littleton homes for non-medical help: personal care, meals, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands, rides, and company through the slow afternoons. Scheduling happens at our Benton Street office up Sheridan Boulevard, so the person who answers the phone is the person who knows your loved one’s calendar.
Waiting rarely makes this easier. Call today and we will walk you through the options.
